INTRODUCTION

In the reefs combined digital IC and traditional fishing game. Once players switch it on, they will notice the sea would be divided into two parts. The inner part of the table would rotate clockwise, while the outer part goes counterclockwise. At the same time, reefs themselves will rotate as well. Players can catch reefs up by the magnet. The bottom of reefs represents the fish living around the reefs. Moreover, players can put their catch on the share which is a sensor. It will transport the data to the app. Finally, the app will activate audio effect and speak the detail information of the corresponding reefs and fishes.

CONCEPT

While the sensor and the app are accessing, the sea and the reefs will stop turning. Recent years we found serious impacts and pollution over the ocean. In order to teach and educate our next generation, it is essential for us to focus on the issue as soon as possible.

2. Test mode

This mode is aiming to test whether the player has enough knowledge from previous training. This mode would randomly choose questions about fish and reefs, plays have to find the correct or the most related object using their fishing rod. It contains two sub-modes in this mode. First is timer mode. Namely, in this mode, the player has to find the best solutions in a limited time. The score of this sub-mode is calculated by the amount of question that player solved. Second is stopwatch mode. Stopwatch mode required players to solve fix-number of questions, the time they used to solve those questions is the major part of scoring.

3. Dual mode

Generally, the Dual mode is a two-player version of the test mode. However, in this mode, players have to compete with others. The scores of them will be displayed in the iPad. In this competition, players could enhance their relationship, it is especially suitable for parents and children.

In the reef 2013

1. Learning mode

The front part of fishing rod is made up by a magnet. When it encounters the reef in the bottom, the residential fish will be attracted by the lure. After catching up the fish, players should put those reefs on the sensor part. The sensor would access the data via chips, built-in in the reef chess, sending those data to iPad through the app, and briefly introduce that kind of reef and the relationship between those fishes.
